Headed to Sarawak

In the morning we're all headed to the airport for a flight to Kuching, which is in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo (see map of Malaysia). We will take a tour of Kuching, where we hope to find some good native crafts, and then head to the rainforest highlands south of the city for a couple of days and then the beach resorts north of the city for two more days. We will return to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. We suspect that we won't be able to post from there, so this may be the last update until we get back to KL after the weekend. In the meantime, we plan to thoroughly enjoy our trip to Sarawak as we relax and explore Borneo!
