They are much bigger already. They looked sleepy, I guess all of that growing has tired them out! Their parents have been busy all week bringing food home. They start early in the morning before we go to work, and are still going at dusk. They are working hard and doing a good job. :-)
They are in the "hatchling" stage now. They should start to get feathers soon, and open their eyes and start vocalizing soon after that. We can keep checking on the nest until they are about 12 days old, and then we have to be more careful so that they don't inadvertantly fledge too soon.
