June and July 2013

June was its usual glorious self in the Twin Cities.  One night, we had a fun dinner by the lake.

Henry was really enjoying his newfound mobility by this time.

In mid-June we took a big family trip to Virginia to visit Auntie and to attend a friend's wedding.  Henry loved seeing Auntie Dana!

She set up a pool on the back deck for him.

We went to a local park and rode the carousel and train.

Henry stayed with Auntie while we went up to the Shenandoah mountains for the wedding.  We saw lots of Katie's grad school friends and had a great time dancing.

Back at home, by the end of June the yard had really made up for lost time, and was in full bloom.

July was a busy month of enjoying summer, too.  Henry ran in a charity race and won!

He also found time to stay on top of the domestic duties.

Henry enjoyed his playdate with his pal Lucy.

Silly pics with mom and dad!

We invented new ball games too.

Many, many laps around the neighborhood in Henry's trusty wheels.

This was from boys' day out at the splashpad.

Fun with Yaya!

Henry lovvvvves bubbles.

Of course, no summer is complete without LOTS of car watching on the highway.

Honk honk!

We visited Gigi's Playhouse a lot, too.  Henry kept working on strengthening those legs for all that walking he's doing now.

We celebrated Fran's birthday at the end of the month at Buca di Beppo.  Ridiculous wait staff singing commenced.

All that fun tired Henry out.

See you again soon!
