Finally... Spring!

May arrived, but you wouldn't know it by the weather.  It was STILL wintery around here.  One good thing that happened is that Nana came for a visit in early May.  We bundled up and went to Edina's annual vehicle day to check out all the big trucks.

It was great having Nana around for a few days!  We played and had lots of fun.  This is one of our favorite pictures of Henry that we've taken!

FINALLY - after snow in early May - the spring arrived.  We could go outside and play!  We went over to St. Paul to play with the cousins.

It felt so good to feel sunshine and warmth and wear shorts and a tee shirt.

In mid-May, we took our 10th anniversary trip to the Cayman Islands!  Our hotel was right on the beach.

It didn't take long for us to get into "tropical mode".

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Henry was having fun with Yaya and Papou.

We returned home to a very welcome sight!

We had finally made it through the lonnnnnnnnng winter and out the other side.  Let the glorious Minnesota spring and summer commence!
