Henry has recovered nicely from his tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy, so he's up for all sorts of new challenges! He is SO CLOSE to walking...it's going to be any day now. He had been doing so well with feeding himself before his surgery, but he got a little out of practice during the recovery because we basically spoon fed him for 2 weeks. After surgery, he didn't want to feed himself as much anymore, resorting to such sneaky tactics as pointing the food on the table and yelling or even taking your hand, putting food into it, then sticking his face into your hand to get the food. So, momma decided that we're going to do bowl and spoon now only (something he hasn't been interested in before) and much to my surprise, he LOVES it! Today he ate mac and cheese, lentil soup, peas (!), and applesauce out of the bowl with no problems!

When it gets to the bottom of the bowl, sometimes it's just easier to stick your face in!
