In early October, the decorations started going up for a party...
Yep, Henry turned 2! As is now tradition, mama made Henry his very own one-of-a-kind birthday outfit. He was clearly quite pleased with all of the fuss and attention.
To decide on the theme of the party, we considered Henry's favorite things. The choice was obvious: BALLS!
All of the food served at the party was round. We had round rolls, skewers of mozzarella balls and grape tomatoes, falafel balls, Italian and Swedish meatballs...
And for dessert, fruit balls, rice krispie treat balls, and donut holes. Even the napkins fit the theme! Katie did a great job with the party planning.
The cake continued the theme. This is the moment that Henry realized we were all singing "Happy Birthday" for him!
Henry very carefully deliberated about his birthday wish. Ada stood by to help him blow out his candle when he was ready.
Even the play activities were ball themed. The ball pit was a hive of activity for the entire party. Henry's party was full of friends and family.
Auntie Dana got Henry a tent for his birthday. It was a big hit! He crawled in and out of it over and over.
Presents in ball-themed gift bags!
Everyone gave such fun and thoughtful birthday presents. Building blocks, a hammer table, and a dinosaur!
Pumped to be 2!
Happy Birthday Henry!
