Fran's in Portland, Oregon

I'm attending the Open Source Conference this week in Portland, OR. This is a conference I've attended several times and I will be presenting a talk on data backup on Wednesday. Portland is one of my favorite cities - it's very walkable, and the city is full of awesome local coffee shops and cafes. In addition, the Willamette River cuts right through downtown and there's a nice park and several cool bridges over the river. In fact, this morning I walked across one of them on the way from my hotel to the convention center. I'll try to post some pics of the city later in the week when I get time to get outside and be a shutterbug!
