Winter Beach Getaway
Katie and I like to escape to the beach in the middle of winter, when it is still quiet at the Gulf resort towns. We recently went down to spend a couple of days, centered around a trip to our favorite store, the Eddie Bauer Outlet. It was chilly but that didn't stop us from hitting the beach.
Our only companions were the birds.

It was a short trip, but a good one. We also found time to watch movies and re-discovered a fun game from my childhood, Rummikub.
