Christmas 2007 #1 - Just Us in Alabama

We started Christmas early (noticing the theme on all of our holidays?) by celebrating at home the week before the actual event. It was a low-key celebration, with just the gifts for each other being exchanged. Here's our tree...

That same week we hosted a small holiday party. We had our friends over for a dirty santa gift exchange. Here, Laura, Katie, Scott and Kristen debate the relative merits of the gifts that were up for grabs!


After that, Katie led the gang through a craft project, while I turned out lattes on my brand new Gaggia espresso machine that Katie gave me for Christmas!

After the gift opening and the party, it was time to relax. That's when we found out another use for the stockings after they are emptied Christmas morning...
